1. Where is your new animal shelter located?
We are located between Ferndale and Liberty, New York at 263 Old Monticello Road, Ferndale, NY 12734
​The easiest way to reach us is to locate the Auto Zone store on Rte 52 in Liberty. Old Monticello Road is between Auto Zone and M&T Bank.  Our shelter is just 1.2 miles up the road at the top of the hill and on your left. We are a grey block building with a brown roof..

​2. What hours are you open to the public?
Currently we are only open by appointment.

​3. Do you offer dogs and cats for adoption?
Yes, we often have a nice selection of adoptable dogs and cats in our shelter. You can see our currently available dogs and cats on our website www.catskillanimalrescue.com Our adoption fee for a dog starts at $300, for a cat over 6 months it's $100 and for a kitten (under 6 months old) it's $125.  An "Adoption Application" is required which includes a personal reference and contact with your current veterinarian and landlord (if any). The adoption process may take a day or two but is regularly quicker. All our dogs and cats come spayed or neutered, completely up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccinations and our dogs are microchipped as well. All our animals have had health evaluations and been treated and groomed as needed.
